Perfolio Terms of Service

Perfolio lets you capture your work, map it to a promotion rubric, track advocates, and generate promotion packets on demand.

• EligibilityYou must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
• Accuracy of Your InputsPerfolio structures the work you log; it does not verify that what you log happened. You are responsible for the accuracy of anything you submit, including entries later used in a self-review or promotion packet.
• Service AvailabilityWe aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, and we will do our best to give notice before removing anything you depend on.

Perfolio offers a free individual tier and paid plans for additional capacity and team features.

• Payment ProcessingPaid plans are billed through Stripe. We never store your raw card details; Stripe handles payment collection under its own terms and privacy policy.
• Renewals & CancellationSubscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from billing settings; access continues through the end of the paid period.
• RefundsFees are non-refundable except where required by law. Contact us if you believe you were billed in error.

You agree not to use Perfolio to:

• Fabricate work you did not perform, or misrepresent evidence used to support a performance review, promotion case, or compensation decision.
• Access another person's account, scrape or resell the service, reverse engineer it, or attempt to bypass rate limits, scopes, or security controls (including the MCP server's token scopes).
• Use connected third-party accounts (GitHub, Slack, Google) in a way that violates that provider's own terms of service.

You own what you put into Perfolio. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail on data handling; the short version:

• OwnershipYour entries, rubric mappings, and generated packets remain yours. You grant us only the limited license needed to store, process, and display that data back to you in order to run the service.
• Export & DeletionYou can export your record or delete your account at any time from settings. Deletion removes your data from active systems within a reasonable period.

• No Guarantee of OutcomesPerfolio helps you organize and present your work. It does not guarantee a promotion, raise, or any specific review outcome, which remains your employer's decision.
• Service Provided "As Is"The service is provided without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Perfolio Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
• TerminationYou may stop using Perfolio at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.
• Changes to These TermsWe may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date, and continued use after a change means you accept the update.
